I find it funny that going from one day to another can make such a huge difference. For me – and allow me to speak on behalf of the doggo community too – it’s just another new day. A new day that will start with a beautiful morning walk followed by a healthy breakfast and I will enjoy the rest of the day. So, I don’t understand the fuss about New Year’s Day. But since I’ve been tasked to write my plans for the new year, here I am ready to share nuggets of woofdom. But before that let me ask what are your plans for 2022?
Haven’t had the chance to plan yet? Then my opawnion piece may come in handy.
And while you are at it, read my other O‘paw’nion pieces here.

Celebrate every day
Like I said before my day always starts with a beautiful morning. I go about sniffing, relieving myself and rolling in the grass. The last one I love the most and I can go on rolling in the grass for hours if I could. That’s my way of celebrating every day. For me, a big part of ‘celebrate every day’ is also walking my humans because I’ve sensed that they enjoy the long walks with me. And since they don’t complain I take them as far as possible.

Relax even more
There are some rules that I follow to the T, relaxing is one of them. There is no need to rush all the time. Its fine to laze around and relax. In fact, it’s good for health. I often overhear humans talking about research and studies on the benefits of relaxing and me-time. And I wonder what’s the use of reading so much when they have a living example in the house! By the way, if anyone reading this piece is interested, I’m still open to teaching snooze therapy. Ping my humans for more details.

Surround yourself with pawsitivity
Finally, being surrounded by pawsitivity is non-negotiable for me. These days you’ll always spot me hanging around my grand humans and little humans. They are the best; they never get tired of giving me belly rubs and hugging me. In return I spread a lot of pawsitivity. But if I sense negativity, I can very well throw a fit. So next time before judging me when I go on a bark fest know that its my way of indicating negativity.
Enough said, your turn now, tell me what are your plans for 2022?
And on that note, here’s wishing the PawzNRead community a pawsome and wooftastic 2022! It might be just another year but let’s live it well, be kinder and happier.
