You heard it right, not one, but two dog parks will open in JVC (Jumeirah Village Circle). While the exact locations have not been confirmed, one will be for small and the other for big-sized dogs.
In its recent newsletter, the Nakheel Community Management has made the announcement. “We are pleased to unleash plans to bring two dogs parks to JVC, where our four-legged friends can run, socialise and play in safety. The parks – one for large breeds and one for small dogs – are currently in the final stages of design and expected to open in the first half of 2022.”
More dog parks, more fun
For the longest time, the dog lover community of JVC has been eager to have fun with their canine companions in a dog park. As the number of dogs has increased in the pet-friendly JVC community, the demand for a designated dog park has also become stronger.
Many dog humans who are part of the Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC) Pet Owners Facebook page have lauded the move. They are thrilled about the announcement. In fact, a lot of the members of this group have constantly advocated for a designated dog park in the community.
“It is amazing news. Finally we will have an official dog park in JVC. And finally, the JVC dogs and my Mozek will have a place to run free without being scared of getting hit by a car. Also, it is a good idea to have separate parks for small and big dogs, because often the energy levels are different,” said dog-mom and JVC resident Kristyna Hunjan.

Other dog parks in Dubai
As the two dog parks will open in JVC, now the community will join the likes of Jumeirah Lakes Towers, The Greens Dubai, Springs Dubai, JBR, Motor City, Dubai Hills Estate Park and Damac Hills. All these communities have one thing in common, safe and designated parks for dogs.
Now with the weather in the UAE set to become pleasant in the next few months, dogs and their humans are getting ready to have fun outdoors. And what could be better than the safe, free to enter, neighbourhood dog parks.
