The ever-growing Rory’s pack consists of dogs and their humans, together celebrating life’s best moments from pet birthdays to humans’ weddings and successful adoptions. “We’re always there for each other,” says Robyn.

So, who’s Rory?
Angel Rory was Robyn’s canine companion. “Rory came into our lives when we lived in New York. She was only three months old and had eye problems. We adopted her, fixed her eyes, loved her from the first minute we saw her. And she blessed our lives every day. When I moved back home to Abu Dhabi, Rory came along and that’s how we ended up in the UAE with Rory’s Apawthecary.”
Rory crossed the rainbow bridge last year, causing Robyn a kind of pain that’s numbing and hard to come to terms with. “But every day I wake up and remember how much Rory loved life. Despite the pain she inspires me to appreciate each moment. Every sunrise and sunset with Rory was beautiful. It didn’t matter if it was the middle of summer or if there was a sandstorm, she always took the time to stop and smell the flowers and tease the birds. Rory brought joy to everyone she met. Never did a person walk past her and not smile. I can only wish to bring as much joy as she was able spread to others. That keeps me going.”
Kind to Pets I Kind to Humans I Kind to Earth
Rory’s Apawthecary is built to inspire and encourage people to switch to a more natural way of raising their pets. Robyn created Rory’s Apawthecary to give humans of pets the choice to buy gentle, safe and non-toxic products ranging from shampoo and conditioner to sun and aromatherapy sprays as well as dog towels, among others.
“Our pets deserve a healthy and happy life without any fuss. We make vet approved, natural products that protect furry ones from all the nasties and chemicals that do more harm than good. All our products help and heal pets whether it be emotionally or physically. We make it easy for humans to switch to an all-natural and organic brand too. We’ve even received feedback from pet parents who actually use our products on themselves too!”
As a plant-based company, every ingredient used in Rory’s Apothecary products is consciously sourced. Packaging is made from recyclable sources, while paper packaging is made from seed paper. These can be planted so that each bag can grow into its own garden of flowers, helping to reduce plastic waste. Further, for every purchase made directly from the Rory’s Apawthecary website a tree is planted.
Giving back to the community
A portion of proceeds from sales at Rory’s Apawthecary go towards helping different local rescue organisations. “We also use our social media platform to raise awareness about helping animals in need be that through rehoming days, donating to an urgent plea and more. We also participate in giveaways and sponsoring events held by local rescue organisations. Every little bit helps.”
“The community has also supported us immensely, which is super humbling. My heart wells up when I read reviews and messages after each sale and receive happy photos of the most loved souls in each family. It brings so much joy and gives me motivation to keep on growing Rory’s Apawthecary in Rory’s name and to continue spreading joy and love. I truly believe that when you put out nothing but love, you can’t receive anything else but love.”
