Last year KSA’s first-ever dog friendly café called The Barking Lot opened in Khobar. The Barking Lot café has brought a lot of joy to dog owners in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as their beloved furry friends can now accompany them to café.

The opening of Saudi Arabia’s first-ever dog friendly café comes as a welcome move in a country where previously dogs were not allowed in public places. However, in recent years the Kingdom has seen a rise in the number of pet owners. Several animal rescue shelters have also, reportedly, sprung up.

Dogs and humans can chill at the cafe

The Barking Lot café welcomes dogs of all sizes along with their humans. While there are coffee and food for humans to nibble on, their beloved dogs can get groomed and blow dried. They can also choose to simply sit around their humans.

KSA’s first-ever dog friendly café, The Barking Lot, is certainly a first-of-its-kind location which has already warmed the hearts of its visitors. It is, reportedly, owned by Kuwaiti national Dalal Ahmed.
