Presenting to you our Human + Dog story. Meet Gucci this week’s VVIP (very very important pooch).
Our sassy girl Gucci joins lives in Lebanon. We are told that she is super friendly and a happy dog, who never fails to make her humans smile. Her humans also told us that Gucci was “a tiny furball the day she came home. She was a bit shy. But it didn’t take her long to get potty trained and feel comfortable in her new home.”

Now it’s time to meet Gucci and hear her story in her humans’, Celine and Aline’s, words.
What’s the story behind Gucci’s name?
We found Gucci to be a very sassy name. We also heard that her breed responds well to the ‘ch’ and ‘ouu’ sounds. And when you say “Gucci” out loud it makes both these sounds.
Does she have a nickname?
Mostly, we call her Gooch. I call her ‘Albi’ which means ‘my heart’ in Arabic because she truly does have my whole heart.
When is Gucci’s Bark Day?
October 5 is our Gucci’s Bark Day. She is seven years young.
What does her every day look like?
Gucci usually wakes us up and heads straight to the kitchen for breakfast, followed by a walk. She usually gets tired after that, and naps until afternoon. After waking up she gets her rush of energy and likes to play with us using one of her toys. Then it’s time to have dinner and go for another walk towards end of the day. And then it’s time for bed.
What do you do to ensure Gucci’s stays healthy?
We take her for walks twice a day, although she thinks she walks us. We are also quite particular about giving her low-calorie treats such as lettuce and carrots over doggie treats.
What motivates Gucci the most?
Definitely food! It’s funny how she runs to the kitchen every time we open the refrigerator. But I’m sure she would justify this by saying “Oh, that’s because I want to ensure that my hoomans are eating healthy.”
Given this is a Human + Dog Story, does she have a favourite human?
Gucci loves us all in different ways. She has formed created unique bonds with each member of our family. But she loves our dad the most. He is the one who first brought her home.

Well, I’d have to say 5.5. Gucci even has a collar with her name engraved on it. She is totally into customised fashion.
Finally, if Gucci could speak, what would she tell you?
I think she would say “its nom nom time, give me some foodie and treats.”
