Being a bit curious (you can call me crazy too) I find myself browsing endlessly to read about dogs of celebrities. How a day in the life of dogs of celebrities look like. Some of you might think such a waste of time! May be! Sometimes I think so too. I could easily use this time to learn more about how to train your dog to cuddle up with you. Something I yearn for but seldom get. But sometimes while browsing I stumble upon gold mine (literally 😉). The most recent one is a series of photos on how to melt hearts and raise awareness about dog adoption.

The Russian football team showed us how

So, after some sassy canine guests of honour walked the red carpet for a dog movie premiere in Czech Republic in 2021 it was time to hit the football ground. On World Pet Day celebrated on November 30, the Russian Football Club (FC) Zenit walked to the field with adorable dogs in their arms. It must have been a sight to behold. And it was an act that also raised awareness about rescuing shelter dogs ahead of the festive season, typically a period when pets are brought home.

For this initiative FC Zenit collaborated with the Russian Kynological Foundation. The club also wrote a message that read: “the aim of the project is to highlight to the public the responsibility and care required when having a pet and to help raise funds for local dog shelters.” The FC Zenit team sure knows how to melt hearts and raise awareness about dog adoption too.

So, what’s the moral of the story?
