I’m guilty of often sleeping in my dog’s beds. In fact, my dream is to get a human size dog bed for myself so I can also nap as comfortably as he does. So, when I stumbled upon an Instagram post about dog bed for humans it obviously caught my attention. I spent the next hour researching this too good to be true product made by two students from the University of British Columbia, Noah Silverman and Yuki Kinoshita who are also best friends. They decided to make human-sized floor beds inspired by comfortable dog beds and called their brand Plufl.

Elevating nap experience
There is something very calming about a dog napping peacefully, dreaming too. It’s a common sight in every home with a dog. Plufl promises to elevate nap experience for humans too with their customised beds that are “handmade with love.” Coming in oval shape that cradles humans into a natural fetal position these beds have a soft but thick pillow border and luxurious faux fur cover.
“As avid nappers, we have found it difficult to locate readily accessible and suitable napping options. With Plufl we seek to elevate the nap experience by providing an irresistibly cosy and comfortable product for every kind of napper,” say Noah and Yuki.
Catch a snooze anywhere
Whether you’re at work or working from your home office, if you buy a Plufl human-sized floor bed you’re sure to be caught snoozing red handed. Just like our dogs have this incredible ability to fall asleep anytime if they’ve access to their favourite beds. What’s more, the co-founders are planning to launch more variants of the comfy beds, incorporating orthopaedic and memory foam into their designs. Now us humans can also get a taste of real comfort that our doggos experience every day. Except that for now these beds are being shipped only across the US and Canada.
