Antioxidant Cookies: Recipe by Karen & Jeannine Becker
Ingredients:
- Organic blueberries – ½ cup chopped
- Ground bison or turkey – 1 cup
- Turmeric – 1 teaspoon
- Basil – 2 tablespoons
- Coconut flour – 1 tablespoon
Directions:
- Mix all ingredients together, and then roll into 1-inch balls. Press flat with a fork.
- Bake on greased cookie sheet at 400°F for 20 minutes. Let it cool before giving to your dogs.
- Store extra cookies in the freezer or refrigerator and let your dog consume within one week. If stored in the freezer, this can stay fresh for up to three months.
Pumpkin Almond Cookies: Recipe by Karen & Jeannine Becker
Ingredients:
- Coconut flour – ¼ cup
- Egg – 1
- Cooked pumpkin – ½ cup
- Almond butter – 1 tablespoon
- Coconut oil – 2 tablespoons
- Dash of cinnamon, ginger or clove (optional)
Directions:
- Mix all the ingredients together, and then form into small 1-to-2-inch cookies.
- Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 325°F for 30 minutes.
- Store extra portions in the freezer or refrigerator and let your dog consume within one week. If stored in the freezer, this can stay fresh for up to three months.
Sweet Potato Muffins/Cookies: Recipe by Karen & Jeannine Becker
Ingredients:
- Sweet potato – 1 large peeled, cooked and mashed
- Eggs – 3
- Unsweetened applesauce – ¾ cup
- Coconut flour – 11/3 cups
- Banana – 1 mashed
- Kefir – ¼ cup
- Ginger – ½ teaspoon (optional)
- Cinnamon – ½ teaspoon (optional)
Directions:
- Mix all the ingredients together. Fill greased muffin pan or form into small 1- to 2-inch cookies (It’s your choice).
- Bake at 300°F for 40 minutes to make 9 large muffins, 20 minutes for mini-muffins or 30 minutes for cookies.
- Let it cool before serving to your dogs. Store extras in the freezer or refrigerator and let your dog consume within one week. If stored in the freezer, this can stay fresh for up to three months.
